Oil addiction

I remember what the President said a few weeks ago about our country being addicted to oil. It IS kinda scary if you think about it. Nothing could run without oil. Besides cars and other automobiles, just think. Transportation. Airplanes, buses, trains, subways, heck even bicycles. Nothing in the house would work without oil. All kitchen appliances, clothes washing machines and dryers would not work.Water would not be able to get to the house. Phone lines would not work. Heck, there would be no television or computers! Everything is somehow related, directly or indirectly to OIL.
