I just DO NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME UNDERSTAND
I just do not for the very life of me understand why some fools make such a big issue of this subject. I myself do believe in a woman's right to choose abortion, but it is HER business. IT IS JUST A SIMPLE MEDICAL PROCEDURE! Why all of this whining and gnashing of teeth about a simple medical procedure that is as difficult(most of the time) as getting a cavity filled at the local dental office.
Pardon me
I owe Jeff a phone call. I owe Jeff many phone calls. I did call him last Saturday after work to possibly go to a movie, but he wasn't home. Jeff and I have gotten rather physical in the past, which usually did start with back rubs and then front rubs and well, you take it from there LOL
My day in court
Well, I took care of it. The traffic ticket I mean. I get to have my day in court. April 4th. Yes. I am attempting to get a diversion, and I go before a judge. I think that this might even be a good expirience for me, because I will get a chance to see court in action(again). This is traffic court, so it is nothing bigtime. The last time I saw a courtroom was about a year and a half ago when I was selected for jury duty. It was an assault case. I really did learn quite a bit about our criminal justice system.

Traffic ticket/citation
Left for church tonight at about 5:55 p.m. Would you believe that I got a speeding ticket on the way there? I am just driving along, almost right after I pulled out of my driveway, I get out on to the street, and after a minute or two, I hear sirens, look in my rear view mirror, and there he is. We pull over. After I give him my driver's license and insurance information, he asks if I know why I was pulled over. I say, no. He says that I was going twelve miles over the speed limit. He asked me where I was going in such a hurry, and I embarrassingly tell him that I am going to church. I was embarrassed to say that, because officers probably hear replies like that all of the time from people they pull over, but I was telling the truth. I wont give out the officers name or the name of the church for privacy reasons. I will also pay the seventy five dollar fine. I give the officer no trouble whatsoever, secretly hoping that he will just let me off with a warning, but when I see him coming back with the citation on his clipboard. No chance. I get a seventy five dollar fine. " You sign here, this is not an admittance of guilt".I comply, he hands me a copy, he smiles at me( what a handsome face he had, too!) I smile back, and manage to mumble an apology. I think that men in uniforms look sexy( I didn't tell him that!) He says'no need to apologize to me, just slow down'. I will.

Actor Don Knotts Dies at 81
Saturday February 25 5:42 PM ET
Don Knotts, the skinny, lovable nerd who kept generations of television audiences laughing as bumbling Deputy Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show," has died. He was 81.
Knotts died Friday night of pulmonary and respiratory complications at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, said Paul Ward, a spokesman for the cable network TV Land, which airs "The Andy Griffith Show," and another Knotts hit, "Three's Company."
Unspecified health problems had forced him to cancel an appearance in his native Morgantown in August 2005.

The West Virginia-born actor's half-century career included seven TV series and more than 25 films, but it was the Griffith show that brought him TV immortality and five Emmies.
The show ran from 1960-68, and was in the top 10 of the Nielsen ratings each season, including a No. 1 ranking its final year. It is one of only three series in TV history to bow out at the top: The others are "I Love Lucy" and "Seinfeld." The 249 episodes have appeared frequently in reruns and have spawned a large, active network of fan clubs.
As the bug-eyed deputy to Griffith, Knotts carried in his shirt pocket the one bullet he was allowed after shooting himself in the foot. The constant fumbling, a recurring sight gag, was typical of his self-deprecating humor.
Knotts, whose shy, soft-spoken manner was unlike his high-strung characters, once said he was most proud of the Fife character and doesn't mind being remembered that way.
His favorite episodes, he said, were "The Pickle Story," where Aunt Bea makes pickles no one can eat, and "Barney and the Choir," where no one can stop him from singing.
"I can't sing. It makes me sad that I can't sing or dance well enough to be in a musical, but I'm just not talented in that way," he lamented. "It's one of my weaknesses."

A while
Sorry that I have not posted here in a while. Have been sort of b usy with work, etc. Finally got to see Brokeback Mountain last night. Great film. Sorta long, and kinda sad. Went out to dinner at Perkin's afterwards. Had a nice meal. No barking furbabies to deal with, so I had a little time to myself. Thought about calling Den, then decided against it. He has his life and I have mine. I still have to return calls that Jeff made to me from last weekend. Man, I hope that he does not think that I am being rude or ignoring him. Generally, I do not care too much for cell phones. I think that they are too much of a distraction, and yes, I am a hypocrite in this area. I have a cell phone. I think that somefolks do get obsessive about telephone calls, and spend 45 minutes just chatting on a conversation that should only take about 5. I hate it when folks talk on the phone while they are driving. What could possibly be more important than paying attention to the road?

For all of the people
For all of the people who were upset when the Danish newspaper printed those cartoons: That is exactly what they are! Cartoons. Get over it! As for the rioters: YOU ARE STUPID. Killing people over stupid cartoons is beyond stupid! Yes, I understand that the the depictions may have been offensive to some, but that is absolutely NO reason to riot and kill each other. We here in the United States are constantly depicting our leaders in a similar fashion, and we don't act in such a manner. Its called HUMOR. Look into it. Its also called freedom of expression. That would be a good thing to look into as well.

Comments: Sharon appeared with me and Forrest Tucker and Larry Storch on our old show... F Troop. What a trooper Sharon was. In one scene of the show Sharon had to ride the same horse with Forrest. Of course she rode behind Forrest and he would pass gas all the time because he only ate beans and beef jerky. He said it was to stay in charactor of a ninetenth century soldier. Because of technical problems the scene needed to be reshot five or six times. When things were finaly "in the can", Sharon got off the horse, raised its tail and put her nose up to the horses, patute. She said she needed some fresh air after riding behind Forrest all afternoon. Now this really broke up the crew, who were tired and frustrated by all the delays. Mr. Roman Polanski, who was directing this episode, thought it would be funny if he did the same thing. After a step ladder was found, Roman put his face up to the horses' ass and promptly received a faceful of horse s---. After wiping his face, the soon to be famous director said... "Zees iz not unlike Fa-rench cooking."
Thanks for letting me share, Ken.

This song always cheers me up
This song always cheers me up when I am in a bad mood. It says take life easy! The Eagles Well, I'm a runnin' down the road, tryin' to loosen my load,
I've got seven women on my mind:
four that wanna own me, two that wanna stone me,
one says she's a friend of mine.
Take it easy, take it easy,
don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy.
Lighten up while you still can, don't even try to understand,
just find a place to make your stand and take it easy.
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
and such a fine sight to see:
it's a girl, my Lord, in a flat bed Ford
slowin' down to take a look at me.
Come on, baby, don't say maybe.
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me.
We may lose and we may win though we will never be here again.
So open up, I'm climbin' in, so take it easy.
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road, tryin' to loosen my load,
got a world of trouble on my mind.
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover,
she's so hard to find.
Take it easy, take it easy,
don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy.
Come on, baby, don't say maybe.
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me.
Oh, we got it easy,
we oughta take it easy.

I don't understand today's music
Frankly, I cannot understand today's music. I cannot name any 'new' music groups of today. I tried listening to it a few times, and frankly I cannot understand what is being sung. Just what in the hell does 'pimp my ride' mean, anyway? I HATE rap music. I will listen to just about anything but rap. It sucks. I like music from the sixties and seventies like The Moody Blues and Three Dog Night. I always listen to seventies soft rock.
