Traffic ticket/citation
Left for church tonight at about 5:55 p.m. Would you believe that I got a speeding ticket on the way there? I am just driving along, almost right after I pulled out of my driveway, I get out on to the street, and after a minute or two, I hear sirens, look in my rear view mirror, and there he is. We pull over. After I give him my driver's license and insurance information, he asks if I know why I was pulled over. I say, no. He says that I was going twelve miles over the speed limit. He asked me where I was going in such a hurry, and I embarrassingly tell him that I am going to church. I was embarrassed to say that, because officers probably hear replies like that all of the time from people they pull over, but I was telling the truth. I wont give out the officers name or the name of the church for privacy reasons. I will also pay the seventy five dollar fine. I give the officer no trouble whatsoever, secretly hoping that he will just let me off with a warning, but when I see him coming back with the citation on his clipboard. No chance. I get a seventy five dollar fine. " You sign here, this is not an admittance of guilt".I comply, he hands me a copy, he smiles at me( what a handsome face he had, too!) I smile back, and manage to mumble an apology. I think that men in uniforms look sexy( I didn't tell him that!) He says'no need to apologize to me, just slow down'. I will.
